#53 Argus 127

This camera was a gift from my brother-in-law, António Vega.
He also got it as a gift for his confirmation.

He kept it in the case, with all of the accessories, even the batteries. It's like new, as you can see in the pictures.

It's a toy camera.
It was sold by Argus, from Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.
The shutter speed is fixed, 1/50ish, two apertures COL11 and 16B&W.
The viewfinder is of the reversed Galilean type, big and bright.
The lens is an Argus Lumar.
It takes 12 4x4 cm exposures in a roll of 127 film.
The film plane is concave.
The film advance is controled by a ruby window, on the back door.
It has a incandescent bulb flash.
Dedicated case and instructions manual included.

One of these days I have to put a film in it and check what that Lumar is capable of.

Thanks António.

Stay tuned ;o)
